Summary

The non-credit Emerging Infectious Disease program presents general fundamentals of the epidemiology, pathology and diagnosis regarding emerging infectious diseases. In addition, specific knowledge on food borne diseases, misuse of antibiotics, zoonotic bacterial diseases, and emerging infectious diseases of horses, swine, poultry and humans are represented by individual lectures. The course is divided into modules depending on the presumed interests of users. The presumed interest and knowledge gained by the user is specifically described for each module below. Modules can be taken in a series, or each module can be taken independently.
